About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, enabling seamless operations for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for all network infrastructure issues, troubleshooting, and buildouts. Act as the top-level escalation point for complex network problems.
- Campus Network Management: Manage and maintain the campus-wide network, including access points, Wi-Fi, routing, and switching. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is highly valued.
- Virtualization Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in VMware environments, with experience in VDI being a significant advantage.
- Server Management: Manage and maintain Microsoft Servers within the organization.
- Identity and Access Management: Possess in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, user access, and Group Policy administration.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
- Experience with network security best practices and tools
- Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Experience with server administration (Microsoft Server)
- Expertise in Active Directory and identity management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
